We will be departing for Zambia on the afternoon of December 30 from the Cincinnati / Northern Kentucky Airport. Our flight path takes us through Detroit, Amsterdam, Nairobi (we will be celebrating the New Year between Amsterdam and Nairobi) to Lusaka on January 1.
After arriving in Lusaka on January 1, we will be traveling to the market to purchase our food for the month while on-site at Mukinge Hospital. Then it will be back to the SIM guest house for a much needed night of sleep (not in the upright position as will be the case on December 30 and 31). Upon awakening on January 2, we will be traveling to the Lusaka International Airport to travel via bush plane to Mukinge Hospital.
